The goal for this project was to maximize the potential for this home’s outdoor living space. In fine weather, the upper deck area now provides plenty of space for dining al fresco or lounging in the sun. While the covered patio provides shade during the heat of the day, and a dry space to enjoy a coffee on a rainy morning, and gather around the firetable by night. Inclusion of the three huge skylights ensures that the home’s interior stays bright.
